  1. Cleaning Older Stains

Sometimes you are not in your home, but your pets remain. At that moment they don’t stop their natural activities! After back in the house you have to deal with the pet stain which already turns old. Clean up the old stain is quite harsh than another stain.

The simplest and effective way which I honestly love to do is using an enzymatic cleaner. Find out the stain and apply the enzymatic cleaner on it to clean up. The enzymatic cleaner is excellent to suck up the stain including odor

  1. Select fabrics carefully

Be Sincere to choose fabric for items of furniture like a sofa or couch. The wrong material can be held foul odor or act like fur magnet. Having leather or microfiber or tightly woven materials are great that can wash down whenever you wanted to clean.

  1. Use Litter Box

Deal with the urine and stool of the pets is one of the challenging jobs but pet parents can’t avoid. So what can you do to make comfortable it?

I would prefer a litter box for my kitties. Owning a litter box would make your task easy and quick.

Try to train your pets to do their pee and poop in the litter box. It would be the super idea to get rid of the mess! If you fail to train, then call the trainer to learn them.

One thing keeps in your head, that clean the litter box at least 3 or 4 times in per week as it would be dirty itself.  To clean up it, you can use homemade cleaner.

  1. React Quickly To Accidents

Once you trained your pet to do their bathroom in the litter box, it doesn’t mean your pet never do the fault. As these are not a human being, it’s obvious for them to make a mistake.

So whenever the accidents occur, act quickly and use the enzyme-based cleaner to remove the stain and odor as much as you can.

  1. Keep Up With the Laundry

Sometimes you would notice the pet hair still in the freshly cleaned clothes! Pet fur can fly and attach to any fabric. We know, the pet hair is irritating and it catches dirt from the air!

The super idea to loosen the pet hair up from clothes before washing. Place your clothes on the dryer machine for 5 minutes without heat and tumble-only cycle.

Even, you can use dryer balls to dry your clothes in the dryer. These balls help to break the bond between remaining hair and clothing.

  1. Freshen Your House

Does your pet odor feel you awkward?  Open your window to allow fresh air from the outside and get out the foul smell.

The best idea I’ve learned to do away the pet smell: The fresh flower keep in the vase is fabulous to get out the pet smell! Otherwise, you can use the fragrance candle or air freshener while the guest is coming to your home.

  1. Wash Bedding Regularly

You might be wondering; pet’s beds are genuinely a magnet to attract all sorts of unpleasant odor with dust. So wash your pet’s bed once a week.

I would recommend you that don’t buy the fluffy bed as it can hold dust and nightmare to clean up. Look for the water-resistant which can wash out quickly.

  1. Clean your Pet’s Dishes

Yes, you should clean your pet’s dish every day to avoid the mess and odor. Try to give them food on such a plate which is rinsed out and wiped down on a regular basis. Please wipe their eating place and wall as well.

  1. Make All Your Rugs Indoor-Outdoor Rugs

It’s essential to have indoor-outdoor rugs to catch all the dirt and water your pet may drag in. On the market, you can find the stylish version of it. Put small size in front of each door.

I also recommend you to put one under the sofa, dining table and any place where your pet like to dalliance.

  1. Always Have the Emergency Cleaner On Hand

Try to have an emergency cleaner. You can get it from the super shop or else make it home. I prefer homemade formula most as it is worthy and safe to use. The ingredients are available too in the household!

You need vinegar, dish soap, and baking soda. Mix these ingredients properly and put into a spray dispenser. Use the cleaner onto any stain and see the magic!

  1. Install a Dog Cleaning Station

Well if you don’t want to mess up your tub or shower then set-up a dog cleaning station. Of course, if you have a laundry room, set-up your dog cleaning station there.

Frankly, it’s not mandatory to have a dog cleaning station. It’s up to your choice either you want or not.

  1. I completely agree that having a pet is lot of fun, however keeping them clean as well as the surrounding is bit of a task. I especially liked the idea of having an emergency cleaner at hand and that too which can be easily made at home with natural products, as I believe vacuum pumps can have a limited use in this context. However, training a pet can do wonders if they get habituated of a daily routine, might reduce some strain. Thanks for sharing these tactics.
